I was saddened to learn of Adrien's passing and my thoughts are with you & your family. Although it has been many years ago, I have fond memories of working with Adrien at Kerr Addison mines warehouse. Such a kind, pleasant, helpful man & friend. He often shared how important his family was to him. He considered himself a very lucky person.

My heart goes out to all of you. Adrien was the first person I worked with in Human Resources at Veterans Affairs. He was responsible for training me in my first HR role and we continued to work together for a number of years until his retirement. I always admired the way that Adrien could take complicated situations and "cut through the b.s." Sometimes he would say to me "well, I might be just a miner but...." and then go on to explain the big picture to me in terms I could understand. Adrien was always so patient, helpful and easy going. I can still hear his laugh. Throughout his time at work, it was always clear that family came first and he was such a proud husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed.

Sincerest condolences Stella & family. Please know that Adrien was deeply loved and respected. In his career as Staffing Officer for VAC, he worked with passion, integrity, and energy. He had an eagle eye when it came to noticing inaccuracies and always ready to challenge the status quo. Adrien was also a good friend to many of us and a great colleague. He had a good sense of humor and a gentle demeanor which are great qualities to have when one works with 20 women. He will be sorely missed by a lot of people. You have my deepest sympathies for your loss.

So very sad to hear of Adrien’s passing. My deepest condolences Stella and family. I worked with Adrien in Human Resources at VAC. You could not ask for a better colleague as he was so very easy to get along with. Who can forget his many French Canadian expressions that he would so easily slide in when opportunities would arise to lighten things up and bring a smile to peoples faces. Another caring soul has left us. Rest In Peace my friend.

Mes sincères sympathies à la famille. Oh, qu’il avait un beau sourire resplendissant. Son départ m’attriste. Que les bons souvenirs de lui viennent adoucir vos peines.
