We kids all referred to him as "SIR" and would never dare call him anything else. He had high expectations and as frightening as he seemed, I also knew he really gave a darn. I remember him smiling and chuckling as often as being a disciplinarian. He appreciated my precociousness and brought out my best as a student. Procter Elementary 1977-79.
