Picard

I am deeply saddened to have learned of the passing of my friend, Don Picard. Don marched to the beat of a different drum, and brought his own particular shade of color to this life. And for that, he is remembered fondly, and with much respect, for the MAN that he was, the rapport that existed between us was great, with our interactions being genuine, joyful, interesting, and informative. The last time that I saw Don was at the Lakeview Restaurant, wherein he informed me of the health issues that he had experienced, and in typical Don fashion, he was still rowing against the current. In an ocean of generic identities, Don Picard was definitely NOT a No- Name Brand. Although my heart presently abounds in sorrow over the loss of a Stand- Up Dude that I am proud and honored to have known, Don will definitely be remembered with a smile on my face, and in my heart. Kudos to whoever chose the obituary photo, for that is how I will remember him. I offer to you all much much more than my profound sympathies at this time. My heart goes out to you in deepest sincerity, as we mourn the departure of a Super Cool Cat.
