Allen was the best professor I ever had. I completed three bachelors and two masters degrees and no other professor came close to the inspiration, generosity and love that this man expressed. It is with great sadness and sorrow that I read this news. He will forever be in my heart.

So very sorry to hear that Allen is no longer with you in this life. My sincere condolences from overseas for this heartbreaking loss.
Allen was so extremely kind and gentle and his generosity was neverending. No words can describe what he has meant to many, among others, at the Stepping Stones. It was an honour to have known him.
He will be missed by many and will be never forgotton.
My heart goed out to you in your time of sorrow.
