Just a further note to my condolence message. Uncle John told me that the name Maurice was from his grandmother's brother. She lived on the banks of the River Rhine in Germany and were forced to flee to Prussia because of religious reasons. I think they went to the Klein Tromnau village area of West Prussia, west of Marienwerder (now Kwidcyn in Poland) . So, when talking to Lorna's brother Maurice, I used to joke that I was named after him. The name seems to have died out with me. My mother, Gertrude Miskie, always spoke highly of Mabel.
