When Anne brought you over to Dundee in Scotland many years ago it must have been a very daunting experience for you to meet her Scottish friends for the first time but you handled it so well and we were won over by your lovely smile which we will always remember you by and your kind nature and great sense of humour. We will always remember one of your visit to Dundee when your hurt your back and could hardly move. We had planned to go out for dinner but you were in so much pain we decided to just stay at our house and watch the Queen concert from Wembley on television. Your could only sit on the floor with your bad back so we all decided to sit on the floor as well and we had a wonderful night. You were the kind of guy who could fit into any situation We also remember when Anne and Brian came over for the Open at St Andrews and on the Saturday you left Dundee early in the morning, on your own, and spent the day soaking up the atmosphere in the sun and enjoying a fish and chips on the green watching the action on the big screen. When you arrived back at our home I remember you had this big, ear splitting grin on your face and all you could say was "Wow what a wonderful day" We joined you and Anne on a Scenic river cruise down the Rhine and we have such wonderful memories of that holiday which we will always cherish. Thank you for being the wonderful, caring, funny and genuine guy we loved and will miss you.
