Rick, I think my response, hearing from you on the phone that Debbi had passed away, certainly showed my shock at this bad news. I really felt bad the last few years about her suffering, but I certainly never expected to hear that she would die so young. Please pass along my heart felt sympathies to the rest of her family. I am so very sad to learn from Rick of Debbie’s passing. I met Deb at MtA, Rick being a classmate. We had lots of fun times together with the highlight being my special dinner date in an elevator with Deb that became a cover photo of the university newspaper. What a lovely person she was. I stood with Rick at their wedding and have remained in touch through the years as Deb became a pharmacist and excelled in her profession. I visited with Deb and Rick about a year ago and know the tremendous suffering that Deb was undergoing with her foot. Rick was her constant, doting companion. May Deb be at peace. She has blessed her friends, her family and her clients with her very presence for so many years that she deserves a rest. She will never be forgotten. With love. Pete German
