To the McCully family. We have had the privilege to work with Stewart for several years in the Mobile Equipment dept. at Stelco, where he was our parts manager. As we had lunch together we heard first hand what PTSD is all about, as he recalled the Scheldt battle. With the island of Walcheren inundated there was nowhere to hide from enemy fire and how he lost several of his military friends in battle. We learned from him personally how much the allied army men sacrificed to liberate us from the Nazi oppressors in WW2 and how Stewart dealt with the effects of war by talking about it often. He taught us why we must respect and honor the veterans who risked their lives, on a daily basis, going overseas as volunteers to regain the freedom for those who had lost that for 5 years. We will always honor Nov.11 with that honest promise: We will remember them. Bill and Jane Lensink
