As a young boy I met sherry when she came home to nana's from some where she came I to the kitchen with energy and enthusiasm with her bigs smile and scent of noxema mixed with the duff bank smell.that same visit she showed me how to make paper snow flakes for the windows.
As the years passed by we grew up and became teens and you could almost set your watch as sherry hit the road in her macinaw jacket that she seemed to live in
When I came back to nana's things went on in the way of springhill leave for a few years and not much has changed.except after awhile and many ons and offs sherry decided darrell was her man and eventually they were joined in marriage that lasted until her passing.ahead of that to lighten her up I used to call her and say x number of days till your married then hours and down the aisle she was gonna murder me for sure, now sherry my cousin that was more like a sister, friend and mentor to many, but more importantly a wife to darrell who stood by her side and has my deepest respect and sympathies.
To my extended family and friends my condolences and apologies for my not being able to join you as sherry starts her journey on that eternal road and you can bet she's found her macinaw, and is that free spirited little girl we watched grow to be an angel. Rest in peace sherry love always from steven and Paul
