Justin, I was so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Dundonald has lost an icon! Doc was a good friend and neighbour and I cannot imagine not hearing a gruff "Come on in, Mar" when I knock on the door. The one thing I learned about Doc with certainty during our visits is that he loves you and is proud of the man you have become. He would want you to smile now as you recall wonderful memories. Jim and I are sorry we will not be around on the 24th to express our sympathy personally, but please tell Danielle and Doc's extended family that we are thinking of them all.

My sisters and I were saddened to hear of our cousin’s passing. We remember Gary (Doc) as a warm and charming person who graciously made time for his countless younger cousins even when he obviously had more exciting things to do. With us, he was always patient and kind. Gary never failed to make us feel like we were special, worthy of his attention — that we mattered. It meant so much to me when I was a shy, awkward young girl with nothing interesting to say. Sue, Kim and I will always remember his easy smile and ready sense of humour. He will be missed. Rest In Peace, Gary.
Always, Sherri
