I knew Billy since we were each five. We went to the same church and all the way through UTS together. There was never anyone with so much fun in him as Billy. He could be as wild and crazy as anyone I knew and could protect himself from all detractors. Under the wild and crazy kid was a truly solid and ethical Canadian guy who could do anything well to which he set his colourful mind. He made a loyal and loving hubby and dad and is ample proof of the hackneyed, old (yet true) adage that they just don't make them like they used to. We are truly impoverished by his loss.
