our sincere condolences to all of you.

Dear Family.
I am a retired nurse who worked multiple years with Shawn in the ICU at the DECH.
I can tell you he was a person of high standards, a trusted and hard-working co-worker.
Shawn was also always pleasant, always had a smile and a hello for everybody. His face would light up when he spoke of his children. He was very calm, very capable in his work and that quietness and containment was always a plus in any emergency. I think back over all those years we worked together and I cannot ever remember him say one nasty word against anyone. He was very well liked.
I found out from a friend that Shawn had died and although I am away in the States at this time and couldn't attend his funeral, I wanted you to have my sincere condolences.
Shawn has gone too early.but Shawn left his mark and will always be fondly remembered.
