I didn't really know your husband but my children when to Elphinstone High School were he was highly regarded.
My personal story was his first game in the mens fast pitch league, if my memory is correct I believe he hit three home runs, I remember thinking who is this guy I was on the other team.

Condolences to the family, glad he had extra time with family because of the double transplant.
