My thoughts and prayers go out to Bev's family and friends in this time of your great loss.
Of all my many McCabe cousins, Bev was, by far, the one I knew best as we grew up as neighbours on the banks of the River Phillip in Oxford Junction.
In those times a very few years in age difference meant that even close family members
could remain as strangers, In our case however, I hold very fond memories of the period of teenage time when our interests did overlap--when we spent many long summer afternoons in her kitchen playing 45's, or on the river paddling a barely seaworthy yellow boat from the railway bridge to the dam and back. All the time I learned much about life from her girl gossip and her dreams for the future. After many years and moving back to the Maritimes I greatly enjoyed our renewed contacts. I will miss her.
