I was part of the first class that Herman took through the computer analyst programme at Lambton College -- I was 28 years old and looking for a new job that would let me provide a better life for my family. Almost 40 years later, I simply can not measure the impact that Herman had on my life. I learned so much and he set me on the career I've followed since then. But, more than that, he was also a good person -- the kind of person you were glad you had the chance to know. We called ourselves "Hermanoids" because we knew how much he did for us. Thanks for sharing him with us and you should know that I was just one person among the many that he touched.
