As a newer member of the Hanover & District Hospital Auxiliary, during the past few years, I developed a great respect for Dr. Zachariah. He often made a point of stopping by our volunteer desk and expressing appreciation, speaking to us as valued colleagues who made an important contribution. He exuded a warmth and dignity that befits a fine doctor who served patients for so many years. His warm smiles and greetings will be missed in the hospital foyer, but they will now grace others in Heaven.
