Debrinski

In loving memory of my dear friend, Darrell Debrinski. I met Darrell back in 2018 during a tour at the pyramids. From the very first moment, he was nothing but kind, warm, and genuinely caring. What started as a simple tour, turned into something much more meaningful. We stayed in touch for a while after he returned to Canada, and during one of the hardest periods of my life, Darrell stood by me. Before I became who I am today, when I was struggling and unsure of my path, he believed in me. I still remember his words, he used to tell me, “You won’t become somebody… because you’re already somebody.” That stayed with me. It still does. We lost contact sometime in 2019, and I tried to reach him again but couldn’t. Today, in 2026, I’ve learned that he passed away in May 2019. Darrell, I didn’t get the chance to say goodbye. But I want you to know that the kindness you showed me, even in such a short time, changed my life. The good you gave to the world didn’t fade, it lives on in me, and I’m sure in many others. Rest in peace, my friend. Knowing you, even for a single day, was a gift I will carry with me forever.
