Wendy, Kathy-Lynn, Doug and your families, So sad to hear this news, I have fond memories. Our families go back a long time, to ATV and Mrs. White and mum being best friends starting on Birchmount Drive / Ayer Avenue - a lifetime ago. We're all thinking of you all at this difficult time. At 18, a little rough around the edges, I went to work in the studio of CKCW Television. It wasn't long after I started that I met up with a wonderful producer there nicknamed "Whitey". Whitey was very open, accepting, and supportive of us younger folk, and in many ways, he helped shape my future years in a very positive way. We used to joke about how working there was like high school with money. Whitey and the other producers cranked out a lot of local Canadian content, sadly no longer done to that extent. Thanks Gerry, really good to have known you.
