Condolences to Kay and Rhonda. They were our across the street neighbours on Ash Place for years. As a kid, I will always remember Ray's clean as a whistle Snap on Tool truck. Being a little kid, I often didn't have a chance to view its interior, but when I was afforded the luxury, I marveled how spick and span it was as the tools sparkled. I would often ask Kay, sheepishly, if she had some big Snap on Tool boxes I could use to make a space ship. Kay always seemed to find some kicking around for me. Tagging along with my sister, who was friends with Rhonda, I remember being unattended in the Meier's living room. I noticed a candy dish on the coffee table. Thinking I was getting away with something, I remember sucking on one and taking a bite out of it to chew it down quickly as I heard someone coming. Unbeknownst to me, it was a liquour candy, which turned my 8 year-old throat on fire. Some great memories living across from the Meir's....and a dog named Buddy!!!!
