Although Melvin was my first cousin, I did not get to know him very well growing up in Trail. I do recall receiving some of his " Hand-me- down clothes" when I was in my early teens. It wasn't until we began having the "Cousins Annual Reunions held each year in the lower mainland, that I was able to renew my relationship with him. Melvin will be sadly, missed by all those who knew him and loved him. I wish to convey my most, sincere, heartfelt, condolences to all surviving members of his family.
