My most sincere condolences to the family. We went to school together, her sister was the same age as myself and were in the same grade in an old country school house named Romford. My parents farmed only a few miles from where the family lived. We knew all the family really well after they moved into the area. They were such good neighbors and always so helpful. It was amazing how they all could live in such a small house with no basement and only a small bedroom off to one side and another long room, with only a curtain to separate where the men slept and the girls slept. Both Johnny and Joe worked for my father in harvest time. The whole family was dearly loved by all the neighbors.
