You were an admired friend from our teenage days in Saint-Hyacinthe, and years later you invited me to spend a few days in your lovely home in the Gatineau Region near Ottawa, after a public concert I was playing for the CBC. I had always hoped to visit you on another occasion when in the Ottawa region, but that never happened as I had by then moved to Paris, France, where I have now lived for about 40 years.
Rest now, dear friend; I will always remember the good times with you and the wonderful family and friends of yours whom you had me meet.
Mes condoléances à tes proches et à tes fidèles amis.
