Sincere condolences to Father Cameron family, he was a friend of my dad at Catholic High in the 40s. They lunched together, spoke fondly of him. Rest in peace

Deepest sympathies to Fr, Joe's family and loved ones. When Joe and Ernie Schibli were were young curates and seminarians from St. Monica's, they were in charge of the altar boys in the early 1960s. They taught us how to play bridge downstairs on the church hall stage, and helped us gain the confidence to speak at a microphone. It helped some of us in broadcasting later on to have read epistles and gospels on Sunday mornings. For St, Monica's to have lost John Walsh, Ernie and now Joe all within a few weeks is a terrible loss for the St, Monica family on the one hand, but a reminder of what outstanding leaders they were on the other. They could be playing bridge somewhere now, saints hopefully not waiting for a fourth. They will surely be remembered with thanks for all they did, there and at other parishes.
