I met Burne for the first time when he was dating Leah who was boarding at our house...early 1960's. I combed Burned chest hair in 1968 when we went to Old Orchard Maine for a summer vacation, He was amongst the men i looked up to and always felt safe when was around him. This sadness i feel only strengthens my faith and ambition to be a good human being. He was a mentor and wonderful person.
