To all of Rob's family: When I heard of Rob's death I felt shocked and so very sad. Rob sat right behind me in Martin Dorrell's Journalism class at Holland College 30 years ago. I was a mature student (some of my kids were Rob's age, so I became like a 'den mother'at college) . He was such fun, always positive and used to sing the song "Don't Worry Be Happy" in class! Though we haven't seen much of each other in recent years, when our paths would cross, it was always such a pleasure to talk, laugh and reminisce with him again. Stephanie, I understand your loss, my husband died at 39, in 1986. Death is so incredibly difficult to accept when there are so many years left unlived. I offer you and your precious girls my deepest sympathy...…

Stephanie and family,

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your girls during this difficult time. May your families surround you with love and support during this difficult time.

Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.

My deepest condolences to Robs family and friends for their loss. I knew Rob well in high school many years ago and we spent a good bit of time together back then. We graduated together, worked together, and shared many laughs together. I have always considered him a stand up guy. We bumped into each other a few times over the years, and it was always great to see him and chat. I can only imagine the feeling of loss that his family must have, but know that he was well liked and loved by many who share in your grief. Please know you are in the thoughts and prayers of our family at this time.
