Dear Gina & Lynda:
We are so sorry to learn of your father's passing. You may not remember me as its been many years since we were introduced. My father (Gordon Laird) was a cousin of your father's. Dad's father and your grandmother Blanch were brother and sister, so we are cousins (albeit a bit distant) . Your father and his friend, Linda, once came to our home for an afternoon of tea and goodies while my father was visiting. And your Dad and Rita were kind enough to attend our 50th wedding anniversary celebration in December of 2017, which we thought was so nice. I will fondly remember him as always having a smile on his face and always being so friendly. Family in Sarnia have been contacted to advise them of his passing. Your father will be sadly missed by many.
We are unable to attend the visitation or funeral because we are leaving for the States on Monday morning, but please accept our sincere condolences.
