To Aunt Marion, my cousins and their families: we are so sorry to hear of uncle verno's passing.I will always remember verno's smile.The last time I visited verno and Marion I was just planning on staying a few minutes as I knew verno was not well but we got talking they were so welcoming.Verno will be truly missed by all who knew him! As a little girl going to convent, I went to the grocery store many times to buy black jaw breakers from Mr. Pineau. A penny each and he would put them in a little brown paper bag. Memories.
He was a fine man.
