Always of "good cheer" would be how I would describe Wally. It was a pleasure to have him on staff at KISH for many years. He took his work seriously but never himself so got along well with colleagues and students. While I did not know his children well, I did share a conversation with Alexis on a flight from Nairobi - a small world. I'm sure you have many memories which will bring a smile as your grief subsides.
