I have only had the privilege of knowing David for the last three years at Saint Luke's Place, the very first day I met him I remember what he said to me, "Hey you there in red (I was wearing a red scrub top) I need your help as I walked over he said, Do you know how to curl?, I said yes I do (which I did, I played for 8 years in Montreal) He said I'm down a player can you be lead?, I said to him well....I am usually the skip when I play, he said ya....I'll keep that in mind, I don't just let anyone on my team you know, I said No?, nope he said, but I'll ask Barb, (I didn't know Barb yet because this was my first day there) I asked who was Barb...he said....my love and smiled.

David had a spot in my heart from that day forward, he had his good days and his not so good days but on the floor we always knew the not so good days were brief. The loss of David has been felt in the entire building but more so for all of us on floor the lived, when I would open the door to start my shift and he was the first person I saw and he would give me a high 5 and for most of the days he would be the last person I would see leaving my shift. I am really going to miss him..........rest peacefully David you deserve it.
