I fondly remember Bill as my automotive instructor at Fanshawe College during my apprenticeship training from 1973-76. He was firm, especially if you were late for his class, and fair. When I became a high school automotive teacher in 1989 here in London, Bill was an encouraging mentor to me. I'll always remember when I took a summer course as a teacher with Bill, and he invited the whole class over to his 'cottage'one day for a barbeque and a swim.
