My sincere sympathy to you, Christine and Carla and your families with the loss of your MOM, Joan. I am also sorry that you lost your Dad, Jim also. I was not aware. I knew Joan a long time ago, when I started Working at City hall after graduating from SCITS. Your Dad and my husband Bill also were employee s with the City of Sarnia. I also sang with the Choir at St. Luke's. Your MOM a lovely soprano and I was a lowly Alto. We had many social times with the Choir group. That was a memorable time. Your MOM also worked for the Sarnia Chamber of Commerce. I was Chairman for several Ontario TOPS (TAke Off Pounds Sensibly) Conventions held here in Sarnia and YOur MOM would be present In her RED blazer greeting all the out of town guests when they arrived. She was great. Over the years we lost touch, as your Mom and Dad went their way and we went ours, enjoying life and raising our families. Please know, I care and will miss them. Sincerely, Myrna (Weaver) Bennett
