I lived beside Brad Cook after my parents died in 2001 on Don Houston's farm. Brad was a great neighbour and a good friend. He suffered a lot of personal tragedy in his life but always had a warm smile and a joke for me.

It's hard to believe and really hits home hard when someone you have grown up with and known all your life has suddenly passed away. Brad was a man who enjoyed life. We were teammates and enjoyed many years of playing broomball and celebrated our wins and replaying our losses at the get togethers on the home farm in Keady. Brad had to deal with a lot of tragedy in his life too with the loss of his infant son - Justin and his teenage daughter - Angela. We have no idea how he coped with these terrible losses however somehow he continued on and lived his life for them. He will be missed.
