I wo uld like to say that I enjoyed his company. I even talked to him every day at day away. I will miss seeing him now and I feel sorry for the family.

I started out as a volunteer at Parkview Manner. I have known Doug for a year. I have often found that he was such a joy to be around. He was my mail man for the chesley area and he used to see me come down to the mail box to get the mail using my cane and stuff. But I really got to know Doug when I started volunteering at the nursing home doing friendly visits. I teased him and always told him to behave himself I often had to keep him in line. He had quite the sence of humer. He also didn't take well to any people's drama that is what I did like. I will miss visiting him and the laughs and all the fun visiting him. My friend who more recently started volunteering at Parkview She knew Doug from day away and she remembers how he gave her a paper talking about the opening of the new chesley medical clinic when it was re done. She will greatly miss him and miss being around him. Doug we will miss you.
