I didn't know this website existed until just now...

Kane became my best friend since I met my brother in-law. He was like a son to my mother, a friend to my father and a best friend to my sister and brother in-law. His laugh, smile and presence is missed every day but the presence he bestowed upon us all remains so that each day that we wake up with the sunlight, we smile knowing he would too. (Or he does and now he's just laughing on a cloud going...you guys are silly!) . He meant so much to me in so many ways. We shared love and we shared friendship...but he shared that with everyone! All our lives are better from knowing him. For the rest of my life, however long that may be, I will miss his hugs and his being. I'm lucky because I met him. He taught me a lot. His soccer playing...he never let me win unless I deserved it! He helped me coach, he made an impact on the girls I coached while he was there...I still coach and I think of him every time I lace up my shoes. In fact, he is there wherever I go, and his words are too. He did so much and only asked for kindness and love in return. If I am half the person he was...I'm okay with that :)

Joe and Seneca, we are very sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved son, Kane. Jesus, please be with Joe, Seneca, Chloe and Shane. Eternal rest grant upon Kane, O Lord and let Thy perpetual light shine upon him. May Kane's soul rest in peace. Amen.

You were loved, you were admired and you will be missed my brother. You were brave and steadfast in all your decisions and I’ll never forget that about you. You were an example to us all about living for today and in the now, rather than longing for tomorrow.

Kane you dared to live your life to the fullest in the time you had on Earth. God plucked you away in stealth so that the hearts that loved you did not see you go. May God Bless your Mama and Papa, Shaun and Chole and give them the courage and strength to know you will always be there with them.

A passionate and talented soccer player. You brought enthusiasm, confidence and top notch skills as a defender. We could rely on you to protect our goalie and cover another player, if help was needed. You brought back fun and a winning attitude to our team. As a team-player you showed us the positives, even if it was playing on the field on in the parking lot. Personally, I learned a lot from your influence as a leader. You will always be remembered in a very positive light. God always be with you, my friend.

Always kind, genuine and honest. You touched many lives with your everyday demeanor and positive attitude. Your smile is infectious and I’ll miss your contagious laugh. You will be forever in our hearts and minds. Rest In Peace my friend!

You left so suddenly. You have left a void in many lives but your beautiful memories will linger forever.
