Shocked and saddened by just seeing that Frankie had passed away in 2016. I taught Frankie years ago at Assumption and had always hoped he would play hockey at Assumption but he was too good and played rep. Just sitting at home thinking about some of my special and favourite students that had touched my life and made my career such a special calling! I always remember Frankie’s sense of humour and love of life and school! I remember teaching Frankie and Erwin and Bubba who were all close friends and made teaching such an enjoyable experience. He was one of those special ones that only come around a few times in a career! I still have the puck that he brought back for me when he went to Russia with Burlington while at Assumption. I will treasure it and remember Frankie fondly and with the only regret that our lives didn’t keep us in closer contact after those Assumption years!
