My sincere condolences to Shirley's family! I met Shirley years ago through Lloyd Marin, my special friend of 78 years. Lloyd was always so upbeat towards Shirley and their approximately 15 years of sharing their lives and careers together. Stayed with Shirley last September. A very sad time for her, having arranged for Lloyd's extended care. His daily absence left a huge vacuum in her life, memory loss is such a cruel partner!!! Easy to appreciate why Lloyd was so attracted to Shirley, as a very positive and driven professional with very high personal standards! Earned her own way in the World and the respect of those she worked with! Her catering career would be the envy of anyone in that profession. Easily stepped up when Lloyd needed help with his business. Had hoped to see her in early May when visiting other friends in Newmarket. Rest in piece Shirley, you will not be forgotten!
