Sorry to learn about Bruce's passing. I am unable to attend either the visitation or the services because of prior commitments.
I worked with Bruce (indirectly as I was the Road Maintenance Supervisor) .From my brief interaction with him and from what his Foremen stated, he was above and beyond an excellent employee. We had a couple of disagreements however on how a road ditch should be made when operating his Gradall. Eventually he agreed with me and made it right. The City of Hamilton sure can't do it now like Bruce done it.
He retired the same date as me and if you have his album (with the photos) that the Region gave us at the retirement event, you will see us in it. He looks happy.
My condolences.

Dear Bruce please know that you were loved and cherished. I am happy to have called you my fiend and am so glad that I convinced you to stay here at Caroline Place. I was your first friend and knew that every morning we would have breakfast and you would say “ Hey how are you “ as you would reach out to tap me on the arm, making sure that I would save you a seat for Happy Hour. I miss you constantly. To the family and especially Diane, he loved you very much and the times together. Although a stubborn man he was pliable. I’m sorry that I will not be there on his day. But I carry him with me forever as I know you will. Rest Bruce. Joanne
