Dear Blair Family-Tuppy, Barbie and Chris,
You had great parents, and I am saddened that they are both gone, but as you said in the obit, the love affair can now continue. At 10 York Valley, we were privileged to witness the Blairs in action across the road. The love was evident everywhere, and definitely enveloped us, and for that we are so very grateful. Through it all, their love and respect for each other shone through as did their love for their kids, Tuppy, Barbie and Chris, and yes for Seiki, too, the little mop of a shitsu who often staked out the territory in the middle of the road between our houses, only to be rescued at the last moment by one of the Blairs – mostly your father. Yes, you were all watched over very carefully by your folks, and also by that burly fellow dressed in red who was annually trying to gain entrance to your home above the garage around Christmas time.
It was a great relationship, because everyone always said yes and dived right in, whenever called upon, especially your dad. I will miss his good cheer and optimism that it was all going to work out! He was a fighter, and so was your mom, and that rubbed off on everyone who was privileged enough to know them. Of course, he picked up a lot of pointers from your mom, but that was the beauty of their relationship-the give and take. They were both medical miracles, and whoever does not believe in miracles, just needs to think about Stan and Kitty Blair.
The Tators have lovely memories of it all, and I am sure you will always cherish your own lovely memories.
Sincere condolences,
Carol, Husky, Ira, Michael and Julie Tator.
