When my husband and I moved to Brighton 31 years ago, we commuted to work in Whitby and Ajax. John made sure our vehicles were fit for our lengthy journey. We could always count on him to keep us safe. So too, up to the very last, John was our 'go to guy'. We always said, we have three people we can depend on to keep us going - our dentist, our doctor, and our mechanic, John at Davis repair. He and his staff have always been so helpful to us and family through the years and it is very much appreciated. I can't imagine how it will feel to go to the shop now and not find him there. My sympathy to his family.

My Husband Robert and I would like leave our sincere condolences for Heather and Family. Also, I remember Wilma. Hey Robert liked to take his vehicles to John at Davis Motors. John was knowledgable, kind and honest, so, Robert was always pleased with work by the Guys at Davis. motors. I knew John as he was my Older Brother’s Friend. John did hang out with our small ENSS crowd for a short time a long time ago and John was memorable because he was well mannered and Shyly charming. Bless You John Matthysse.
