It is with regret that we express our condolence respecting the death of Alan on Feb. 23, 2020, in Wolfville, N. S. He graduated from Acadia University in 1954. He was elected Class '54 President, the post that he dedicated his life to honour and uphold the duties it demanded. He faithfully kept everyone informed and updated on Class activities up until now. He attended every five year Acadia Class Reunion since 1954. At each Reunion Alan presented a speech at the Reunion Dinner that told all of the attending Classes about the contributions the Class '54 made Acadia look much improved. At the Acadia Reunion held in July 2019, Alan made his last highly regarded speech to all of the attendees at the Dinner held in the Dining Hall of the 1950's. We have lost a worthy Class member, however, we will never forget how much he Contributed to the wellbeing of Acadia. We salute him with our Class '54 Yell!.
