Erin, Matt & Gail,

I was so sorry to learn ofTony's passing. As we all knew, he was a dedicated teacher and sports coach.
You likely all remember the summer that he agreed to take our dog, Chocolate, while our family headed for BC to visit grandparents.
He said that he had the perfect place in your basement for Chocolate. I thought this not going to work. We had let Chocolate gain so much weight, that she would sit at the bottom of stairs and cry until someone carried her up. I could never see Tony doing, that and I was right. When we arrived back, Tony went to the door & called Chocolate, and up she scooted, and into your wonderful backyard running around it at full speed, showing off.
What a joy to see what Tony did for us and our dog.

Another story: When Tony was young and still in the US, the government drafted him and sent him on a tour of duty in Viet Nam. When he returned home, he learned that they planned to send his younger brother over. He said, "No, it was too terrible an experience, leave him home & I will do another tour." The government agreed, and Tony returned for a second tour.
I am 85 years old now, not walking well, So I do not believe that I will be able to Saturday.

Please know that you are in our hearts & minds. Linda & George Lowe Bridgewater
