Gretal Haack was a young thirteen year old in my first year of teaching at Chester Municipal High School back in 1964-65. She was a bright little girl and gave me a Christmas present, a beautiful silver money clip, which I have and treasure to this day. A decade later I was at a NSTU meeting in Windsor and she recognized me and came over and introduced herself and we chatted for a few minutes. Gretal was a delightful young lady and I am sure her passing will be felt with sadness by all who knew her. S Albert Johnson a former teacher
