My condolences to Joan's friends and famy. She was a lovely woman, whom I met at the PHNH (where my mother lives) thro7gh her dear Cat Charlie, as we shared a mutual odoration of cats. I had occasion to take him to the vet once when his back leg was injured, and trim his claws on occasion. We used to chuckle to see him as he rode around on the seat of her wheeled walker through the halls. Joan was friendly and kind-hearted, and I am sorry that she has left us.
