My deepest condolences for the family of Sonny. I met Sonny, (my older half-brother) a few times, when I was small child. My brother Gary and I were always excited when he came to our home in Aldershot. Whenever I returned to Nova Scotia, I visited with him in the Wolfville Nursing Home. He shared with me his fondness for his children, John Wayne and poetry. May you Rest In Peace Sonny.

I remember Sunny (my half-brother) , when I was a small child, during the mid 1950's. He often would visit us in Aldershot. At that time our father, Alfred Graves, was a musician in the Black Watch Band. Many years later, when Sunny was in the Wolfville Nursing Home, I reconnected with him and would visit him whenever I returned to Nova Scotia. We shared many stories and laughs. He, our father and our brother, Gary (deceased) , had the same great sense of humour. My dear friend, Sheila Hancock, often visited Sonny in the Wolfville Nursing Home. She would keep me up to date and shared many warm and funny stories of their visits. I often think of Sunny when I hear Johnny Cash songs, because he admired this artist. He also shared some of his poetry with me, when I visited him. He was a kind and insightful soul. My deepest condolences and sympathy to his children and grand-children. Remember, love and energy never die. Warm regards, Wanda Paquin (nee Graves) London, Ontario
