I was very sad to hear of Hugh's passing. I grew up in the prefabs and got to know Hugh and his family quite well. Hugh and (Pat) made a big impact on my childhood as they would always treat me as part of their family. There were numerous times I was invited into the house for a treat and they were always willing to buy the chocolate bars or tickets I was selling for school. I can remember Hugh and Merle Sprague talking out front of the house when I was a young boy and they always made time to talk to me. Specifically, they showed me magic tricks and taught me how to ride my bicycle. Hugh had a big heart and will surely be missed. My condolences to Pat, Debbie, Richard, Michelle and the rest of the family. Lots of love,
