Bravo vous etirz un grand homme et resterez un grand homme je suis un fervent téléspectateur de la série télévisé et de la lègende vous m avez fait rêvez et j expliquerai votre vie à mes petit enfants reposez en paix et que votre nom soit porté au livre des plus grands comme colomb et tout les grands

I was so sorry to hear of "Dan's" passing. As a dedicated follower of the "Curse of Oak Island", I hoped he would have lived long enough to witness the success of the search for treasure on Oak Island. I remember reading the article in the "Reader's Digest" and it was of great interest to me because I had already made two trips to Bridgewater, NS, to visit some of my mother's family members, and I remembered seeing the signs for "Oak Island". I always had a desire to go there but had no idea how to get there. Since the program, with Rick and Marty Lagina, began to air, I have wanted to stop and see what artifacts are on display. Having been to New Ross and Mahone Bay, on some of my yearly visits to Bridgewater, and area, I am more interested than ever.

So sorry to hear of Dan's sudden passing.Met him many years ago at Raymond and Betty's. A very nice man. He will watch and guide you as you continue the journey of finding that treasure. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time. Take care and comfort in knowing that he is not suffering. May you RIP.

When I watched Oak Island this past Tuesday, there was the memorial photo of Mr. Dan Blankenship at the beginning of the show. All of us are deeply saddened. You were a great man. Now, at peace in heaven, you know the secrets of the island. We will very much miss you!

Mr. Blankenship will truly be missed. We both are avid followers of Oak Island and we saddened to hear of his passing. Our hearts are heavy but we, as watchers of the show, know that he will lead this team to find the treasure of Oak Isand. Our prayers are with the Blankenship family and the Lagina brothers and the whole team of the show. Reet in peace Dan Job well done and such a life of devotion and love of solving the Curse of Oak Island.

Sad to learn that Dan died. He was quite a man. Always loved seeing him on Curse of Oak Island. Wish he could have lived long enough to see the treasure discovered. I'm sure he and Xena Halpern are watching from Heaven. Rest in Peace, Dan. Will miss seeing you on TV.

I'm so sadden to hear of the loss of Dan, which I know couldn't compare to your loss. His wealth of knowledge, and sense of humor will surely be missed. I have lost both of my parents in the last few years, so I understand the pain and sorrow you feel. Let the memories of him live on for ever in your hearts, now that he is at rest in peace. Let his spirit guide you in your adventures on Oak Island.

I know it hurts. Been through it with my dad. Lean on each other. Enjoy the memories. He was like a father figure to the whole show. Solve the mystery. He is watching. It's ok to cry. Get some quiet time alone and just think. Let in set in. And then attack this quest with all you got. You are all in our prayers. We are in the adk mtns. If you need someone to talk to give us a shout.peace. The Merz family..........
