My sympathy to all Cora’s family. What an incredible life she lived. I remember fondly snuggling in between the church ladies group (of which my grandmother Leona Thompson & Cora belonged) . They would have quilting sessions in the vestry & I would drop in for a cup of tea on my way home from school. The church was a very important part of our lives then- Christmas concerts, & special community suppers. Cora was always part of these. She & Della were ‘steady fixtures’ for the whole community at the local IGA. Everyone knew them as friends.
