Wow, this Loss was a sad one. Despite her numerical age, she was the youngest 90 year old in both looks and spirit that I knew personally. I’ve never met anyone like her in that geographic area & age group. She was as cool as they came and a true trailblazer at the height of her flame. Coming from the Fashion industry, I have always appreciated her first hand knowledge Fine garments and its construction. She worked in different jobs in her adult life, but what impressed me the most about her was her creative talent as a Master tailor-and her attention to detail. She had a strong sense of character with a very independent streak. A lot of her qualities were incredibly fabulous, but her strength and confidence despite what may have been going on with her personally is what I drew me to her the most. We shared a great bond despite my family and I moving decades ago. She came to visit us for well over a month many years later and had a great time with her. She was technically my great-aunt, but emotionally, we always had more of a grandmother/granddaughter relationship and I will always cherish our experiences together. I am sending my love and deepest sympathy to her immediate family. She will be missed!

My memories of your Mom are so very fond. She was always so kind and loving. I enjoyed going to your home and feeling special. Mrs. Boudreau was always making bread or sewing. Lauraine even took time out of her busy life to sew for me. She made me a purple jumpsuit because both you and Linda had one.
