Rick and I met in early 2014 through my son, Raymond. I only knew Rick such a short time, but he was so inspirational to me. He always came up with just the right words to cheer you up, and encouragement. One just wondered how could he be so positive while being going through so much pain & all the treatment. He visited me while I was in the hospital and brought sunshine with him. Rick was one of the reason that I kept going and didn't give up, and I'm so glad that I had a chance to tell him that. Of course he gave me the credit. We kept in touch via e-mail and I was looking forward every day to see what was happening with him. He was so proud of his children. I was hoping that he will be here for a long time. If anyone, it will be him, to survive this horrible illness. I was wrong. I will miss him very much and I'm so thankful for what he done, not just for me, but countless of other people. Made a huge difference in this word with his presents!!
