To my sweet daughter-in-law Jenn: I am deeply and sincerely sorry for the sadness you are now feeling in the loss of your dad. I know you always held a special place in your heart for him, and this was shown especially in the past while since he became ill. You provided him with the most important gift of all; your time! It is amazing how sometimes a normal conversation with someone can become a memory. Little did I know the last time your dad and I spoke it would become my last conversation with him. Part of our talk changed to you as he talked about your busy life and especially your ability in being able to do all the things that needed to be done with the kids in the run of a day and never complained. I vividly remember how he looked at me and in his low tone voice said “Donna, I would not be able to do it” Life does not seem fair sometimes and this is one of those unfair moments. Allow him to live on in your heart. You will miss him greatly and knowing you, will remember him often. You were his angel and now he is yours.
Give Chad and my precious grand kids a hug for me. Please tell Mom; Kevin & Natalie; Roger & Heather that I am thinking on them at this sad time.
Love Always,
Donna
